Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia

I became a veterinarian due to my love of animals, science and medicine. I work in a busy, private practice specialty hospital and function as Department Head of the Critical Care unit. My current job includes both hospice care and euthanasia, and now I strive to provide this service to pets and families in their home.

What pet parents are saying

I’m so grateful to Dr. Walton and Mazan for helping and being with me in such a challenging moment. Dr. Walton asked me questions that helped me stay present and remember my connection to Amma and helped my heart settle.

Dr. Rebecca will be our first choice going forward for this incredibly personal and heartbreaking procedure. Pet euthanasia at home is the only way to go and I highly recommend Dr. Becca if services are needed.

Becca and Morgan made the process absolutely so wonderfully comfortable as we helped our girl cross the rainbow bridge. They are warm, accommodating and offered us so much grace, support and comfort. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Dr. Walton couldn't have been more respectful and loving toward us and our dog. We had agonized over the decision to put our dog down, but we could tell right away that we were in good hands with Dr. Walton and she reassured us that we'd made the right choice.

Dr. Walton and her assistant were incredible. They came to our home the same day we called and showed such kindness and compassion during a very difficult time. Our beloved Tank was suffering, and their gentle care made the transition easier for our family. A few days later, they even sent us a heartfelt sympathy card, which truly extended their warmth and support. We are so grateful for the compassion and professionalism they provided.

Review by Dr. Rebecca Walton

Dr Rebecca Walton went above and beyond my expectations of what it would be like to put my dog down, from the start she was so compassionate, caring, sympathetic, knowledgeable and understanding. The whole experience left me speechless at how peaceful it was. I am so grateful I was led to her on that most difficult day, I couldn’t have hand picked a better vet to do the hard job if I tried. The delivery of my dog’s ashes was equally as beautiful and meaningful. Forever grateful.
