Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia

I became a veterinarian due to my love of animals, science and medicine. I work in a busy, private practice specialty hospital and function as Department Head of the Critical Care unit. My current job includes both hospice care and euthanasia, and now I strive to provide this service to pets and families in their home.

Dr. Walton is both kind and professional. You can tell she loves animals. She and her assistant made a very sad day bearable. I will recommend her to any family or friend for when they need her services.

March 12, 2026 we knew it was our dog The Rudy's last day. We were fortunate to fine Codapet and people had posted about Dr. Rebecca Walton. She came to our home with her assistant Morgan. Dr. Walton helped to make the painful decision bearable with kindness and compassion. Sensitivity was the key for all of us. We were able to say goodbye to our Rudy at home. It was loving and dignified. Bill and Gail Landers

Rebecca was so wonderful and so genuine. I really appreciated her and she made the experience the best it could be. She was very communicative and patient. And she gave me a big hug at the end! That was so nice and unexpected.

Dr. Rebecca will be our first choice going forward for this incredibly personal and heartbreaking procedure. Pet euthanasia at home is the only way to go and I highly recommend Dr. Becca if services are needed.
