I have recognized over my years in private practice just how important not only the first day we have with our pets is, but also the last. It was tough making this decision and putting my cat to rest after her lymphoma diagnosis, I miss her greatly. I was tired of vet visits, Autumn was as well, she wasn't going to get better. I'm happy this service exists and that Autumn's last day wasn't spent waiting in a cage at the vet to be put to sleep. She would have been stressed. We had her resting in the bed all day, her favorite spot, and she received tons of love from the family leading up to the appointment. Dr. Sarah Clem was incredible. She was in contact with us in the day leading up to the appointment, answered our questions and was friendly and compassionate. She was very kind and I'm thankful for her. I highly recommend the service offered by Peaceful Passing / Coda Pet. Dr. Sarah Clem is gentle and kind, and truly helped make our very sad and difficult time of having our beloved of old dog euthanized. She arrived on time, greeted our dog with patience and gentleness, and without rush, asked for our consent before proceeding. Making the decision to put our 17 year old baby to sleep was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made. In all of out grief we are so greatful for Dr Clem and how much compassion she brought from the moment she walked in our home until she dropped of his ashes. Although not something we ever wanted to have to do, she made the process so peaceful especially for our sweet Koda.
She was very professional, caring, and sensitive. My elderly dog died before the scheduled afternoon euthanasia, so she came to my home during her lunch break to minimize my anguish. Her communications and actions were very comforting. I highly recommend her.

Our hearts were broken when our Gracie left us too soon. Gracie was so sick but managed to get up to greet Dr. Sarah Clem when she arrived to help us. From start to finish, she made the process as peaceful and comfortable as it could possibly be and my heart is filled with joy that we were able to do this as our last gift for my sweet girl. Dr. Clem, her gentle touch, compassionate disposition and empathy were a blessing. Unfortunately, we had to make the incredibly difficult decision to put our sweet little Roycella to sleep after a long debilitating illness. As of late our pup had been starting to spend too many bummer days and we didn’t want to put her through anymore. It was a gift to our Roycella to be able to do this at home. Roy left the world eating short ribs, showered in affection and enjoying her favorite spot in her backyard! Making the decision to let my sweet fur baby Myles go was one of the hardest gut wrenching decisions. In the midst of my sadness & grief, Dr. Sarah Clem was a Godsend. She was compassionate & supportive. She explained the process while also making a point to inquire about Myles & his life journey. My experience with Code A Pet started at a vet appointment with a very compassionate vet who recommended Code A Pet should I need them over a weekend. My call for an appointment was full of understanding about losing a pet. Dr. Sarah Clem came to my house to put down my 15 year rescue dog. My dog use to get overwhelmed when going to a vet, by having Dr. Clem come to my house she was able to stay calm. Dr. Clem was very empathetic, explaining everything she did. I would highly recommend this service and have to my friends.

This is the best thing we can do for our pet. My dog is scared of the vet office in a sterile environment. Having this service done in the comfort of our home where he is surrounded by loved ones made the biggest difference. Dr. Sarah was very kind and empathetic. I appreciate this service so much. I can't thank Dr. Sarah Clem enough for helping us with our beautiful Miss Bo...giving us the blessing of having her pass peacefully at home with our family around her. Miss Bo was a 14 year old pit bull mix and had been having trouble walking around for the last 6 months as her back legs were giving out to the point where she was dragging herself around. We were pleased to find Codapet when we asked our veterinary office, All Creatures if they provided in home euthanasia services and they provided us with Codapet's contact info. We were also pleased to see that Dr. Sarah Clem was available as she is also a Vet at All Creatures. Codapet's website was so helpful and their online scheduling made the whole experience very easy to setup and schedule payment and cremation services. Dr. Sarah gave us as much time with Miss Bo as we needed the morning she passed...and although it was hard letting her go, the way she passed in her bed with us all around her was the way it should be. She had a beautiful life and she passed peacefully which allowed us to manage getting back to our daily lives without her more easily. I can't recommend Codapet and Dr. Sarah Clem enough. We will be using them for all our future pets.
Dr Clem was very kind and caring. She provided the very best care for Ruca and explained the process before starting and as we proceeded through it. The in-home process was truly the best option for Ruca and for our family. I couldn’t ask for more from Dr Clem. She is truly the best.

It was very difficult for me finally to decide that the time had come to release my sweet Loki from my life and his suffering. Having Dr. Clem euthanize him in his own home was my first experience with in-home euthanasia; however, I will never euthanize another pet in a veterinary clinic again unless the pet's condition is so dire at that moment as to give me no other choice. Dr. Clem was very calm and compassionate from the moment she arrived until the moment she left, and the whole experience for Loki (and me) was as gentle as it possibly could have been.
She was very caring and compassionate considering the circumstances. She gave our boxer a passing with dignity and respect. I am glad I found this service. We weren’t sure how we were going to about it otherwise. It’s already a difficult enough decision.

Dr. Clem was kind, compassionate, and patient, as we had to euthanize both of our dogs. It was hard letting them go, but it was peaceful and they were at home. They weren’t scared or anxious, like they would have been if they were in a veterinarian’s office. I am thankful for what Dr. Clem allowed us to have with our two dogs.
Dr. Clem made one of the worst days of my life just a little bit more bearable. I didn't have to think or really talk, she handled every step perfectly. I got my Lola back quickly and personally delivered. I hated having to make this decision but I am SOO thankful I chose Mr. Clem.

Dr. Clem made a difficult situation less painful for us. She is one of my regular vets so it was a relief that I had the option to choose her to come to help us say goodbye to our girl. She did everything right: gave us plenty of time to say goodbye, asked us about our girl and made sure that she was comfortable for the procedure. And she made us a lovely little paw print memento as well.
Dr. Sarah was so kind and comforting through the process. This was my first pet that I raised through adulthood so I was quite heartbroken. The hardest decision of our lives was to put our beloved 14 year old fur baby down. He was so special but I know he was in pain and his body was failing him (even though his spirit never did). I’m so grateful that Dr Clem was there to assist him in crossing the rainbow bridge. While we miss him every day, I am thankful that the option to be with him in a comfortable place until the very end is possible, and that Dr Sarah Clem was the one to help him transition. Dr. Sarah was like an angel. So kind & Compassionate. She took all the time we needed and was so caring. It was 3 weeks ago this afternoon that we said goodbye to Angie. Angie was 21 years old and my Constant Companion for 18 years. Dr. Sarah made Angie's leaving so graceful and without pain, she slipped away. Our appreciation is boundless.
